It is designed for heavy bumper-pull trailers that need tongue height adjustment. As a result, it works well on equipment trailers, dump trailers, car haulers, and heavy utility trailers that tow behind multiple trucks. This channel features a standard 3″ inside width. Therefore, it accepts most channel-mount adjustable couplers and towing attachments. You can run a ball coupler head for conventional towing. Alternatively, you can install a lunette ring for pintle hitches or a clevis-style connection when required. With five mounting positions, the bracket provides roughly 8″ of vertical adjustment. Overall height measures about 12″. It uses six 5/8″ diameter bolt or pin holes, spaced 2″ center to center. Because of this layout, dialing in a level tow is quick and precise.
