It also bolts directly to a common 7-bolt brake flange. Because of this, the backing plate stays rigid and square. In turn, shoe wear stays even and engagement feels smooth. Part #31-B1210E-12 follows Dexter-style 10K Self Adjusting Brake specifications. Therefore, it fits many Dexter axles and other brands using the same 7-bolt pattern.
