Description The 10K General Duty Trailer Axle Brake Assembly delivers reliable stopping power for heavy-use trailers. It supports 10,000 lb axles and mounts on the left-hand, driver’s side. Part #31-B1210E-11 is built for frequent towing and higher weight ratings. First, on this 10K electric brake the 12-1/4″ drum pairs with 3-3/8″ wide brake shoes. As a result, you get more friction surface and better heat control. Therefore, braking stays consistent even under load. In addition, the self-adjusting design keeps proper shoe-to-drum clearance during normal stops. This reduces maintenance time and promotes even wear. Next, installation stays simple. The assembly bolts directly to a standard 7-bolt brake flange. It follows Dexter-style 10K specifications, so it fits many Dexter axles and other compatible brands. Plus, it comes fully assembled with shoes, magnet, springs, adjuster, and self-adjusting hardware already installed. That means no guesswork and less time in the shop.
